With an area of just 220 sq. ft. with an overall width of 9’-2”, the requirements of the clinic were a little high. As a result, we divided the clinic into four zones: the waiting area (on the front), doctor’s consulting area, treatment area, and a toilet for sample collection of pathology tests/personal use. A few changes in civil work were made to provide better functionality. All the furniture has been designed with a bare minimum footprint to provide ample circulation space in a small area. Benches made of steel and wood have been used instead of chairs. The opening of the consultation area has been worked out in such a way that the doctor can keep a track of the waiting area from his desk itself.
